PTA ACTIVITIES
Making connections is part of what makes Lance Thompson special! Our PTA helps bring students and families together through after-school activities that build friendships and celebrate our community. From hosting a table at Multicultural Night to organizing Spring Fling and supporting Star Night, we help create welcoming experiences for everyone.
Our PTA brings learning to life through enrichment experiences beyond the traditional classroom! These school-day opportunities include the Lance Day petting zoo, supplies for the Mobile Makers, and guest assemblies such as Creature Teacher and Dinosaur George. We also coordinate the annual Reflections art contest, giving students another way to explore their talents and express their creativity.
We love showing our Lance Thompson staff how much they mean to us! Our hospitality efforts celebrate and support staff through special recognition days, lounge refreshments, luncheons, and surprise pop-ups. Each thoughtful gesture is a chance to thank the people who care for and encourage our students every day.
Celebrate the season at the Holly Jolly Market, a community vendor market with free admission! Enjoy complimentary photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, browse goodies and gifts, and support local businesses while checking off your holiday shopping list. It’s a festive way to spend time together and share some holiday cheer.
From everyday needs to special celebrations, our PTA helps make memorable moments happen at Lance Thompson! We provide extras such as STAAR testing snacks and Field Day popsicles, coordinate the yearbook, support staff holiday celebrations, and bring stories to the Pumpkin Patch at Fall Fest. We’ve even helped celebrate a solar eclipse with Moon Pies! Our support also extends to helping the school build relationships with local first responders.
