Yes! Membership lasts for one school year, so you’ll need to renew each year. We’d love to have your continued support as we create meaningful experiences for our students, staff, and families.
No! Joining does not commit you to volunteering or attending meetings! Your membership alone helps support our school.
If you’d like to do more, you can participate in plenty of ways, including volunteering at an event, donating supplies, sponsoring an activity, or joining a subcommittee. Email lancepta@outlook.com if you’d like help finding an opportunity that fits your interests and schedule.
Your membership helps make school experiences possible that go beyond the classroom! PTA support has helped provide activities such as the Lance Day petting zoo, the Creature Teacher assembly, testing snacks, and the Holly Jolly Market. It also helps us celebrate our staff through appreciation meals, treats, and special surprises.
Members receive PTA emails, making it easier to stay informed about events and opportunities to get involved. Membership also supports participation in Reflections, the national student arts program; at least one person in a participating student’s household must be a PTA member.
You can also enjoy PTA member perks, including discounts on travel, attractions, and more. Every membership helps our Lions community thrive!
Anyone who wants to support Lance Thompson is welcome! Parents, grandparents, staff, friends, and community members can all join - even family members who live in another state. You don’t have to be a student’s parent to make a difference.
Visit our Join the PTA page or go directly to https://www.joinpta.org. Complete the required information and purchase a membership for the current school year.
Registering multiple people? Add a separate “Join PTA” item to your cart for each member. If you need help, email membershiplance@gmail.com.
