Sarah Carpenter-Santos
Sarah is starting her third year in the LTE community and on the PTA board! After serving as VP of Membership last year, she’s excited to step into a new role this year. Sarah is a retired Army veteran and has a 3rd grader at Lance Thompson. She loves using her experience to support our teachers, students, and LTE community!

Sarah is back as our Yearbook Chair and has been bringing LTE memories to life for many years and we’re so lucky to have her because she’s a total rock star at it! She has three kiddos, including a 4th grader and 1st grader at Lance Thompson, plus a toddler keeping her busy. When she’s not working on the yearbook, you can find her cheering on her favorite cheerleader, rooting for her Texas Tech Red Raiders, or putting her creativity to work through her photography business!

At the beginning of the school year, Texas PTA sets membership goals for our PTA. It's the VP of Membership’s job to find creative ways for us to meet these goals. Membership drives, giveaways, you name it. If you have a competitive streak, this is the job for you! Being completely comfortable with spreadsheets is a must.

We need someone who likes to count every penny and has a rock solid sense of fiscal responsibility. If you secretly love to categorize expenses or one of your hobbies is creating spreadsheets, you have what it takes to be our VP of Finance, who PTA says we must call "Treasurer".
Job at a Glance:
Lead the Finance Team
Manage an annual budget where money is deposited sporadically
Track money to ensure multiple budgets are adhered to
Oversee getting donations and hosting the online silent auction in December
Files sales tax quarterly and reapply annually for the 990
Ensure financial reconciliations occur monthly and annually
Be a bank signer and a cashier at PTA events

If you’re the kind of person who documents everything from your kid’s first steps to how far you jogged yesterday, we have the perfect role for you! You’ll get to put your stellar record-keeping skills to good use as our secretary! You must be able to listen and type at the same time (not much different than watching TV and playing on your phone).

Rachel Hilz
Hi! My name is Rachel, and I have a beautiful third-grader here at Lance. This is our third year. My daughter and I share a love for all things LTE— especially the Holly Jolly Market! It was her favorite event last year. We love contributing to our school community and are proud to be Lance Lions. As a long-time resident of the area, I’m excited to serve the PTA and give back to a community where I went to school as a young girl.

Excited to serve another year as the Council Delegate for the Lance Thompson PTA for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, I look forward to strengthening connections at the district level, sharing important information and updates, and helping keep our Lance Thompson community informed, connected, and engaged.
Our family has been part of the Northlake community for a decade, and we’ve truly enjoyed watching it grow. Being part of the Lance Thompson family has been a meaningful part of that journey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our school community.
I’m passionate about building strong relationships, fostering community, and creating opportunities for families to feel connected and involved. Outside of volunteering, I enjoy spending time outdoors, researching and learning new things, crafting, and traveling with my family.
Fun fact: Invite me to an art class, and I’m in! I’m always up for trying something creative and learning something new.

Arigayle Skinner
I’m Arigayle, wife to Andrew, mom to Watson and Scarlet, and your PTA Fundraising Chair! By day, I work in higher education fundraising. I love bringing people together and am definitely happiest when I’m hosting an event, planning a party, or finding an excuse to celebrate. I’m also a proud Red Raider, so you can usually find our family cheering on Texas Tech whenever we get the chance! When I’m not working or volunteering, Andrew and I are usually chasing kids, hanging out with family, or planning our next adventure. I’m so excited to be part of this PTA and can’t wait for a fun year together!

Jacob Upshaw
I’m excited to serve as the PTA Historian this year. My wife and I have two kids at Lance Thompson: Gabriel in 4th grade and Evangeline in 1st grade.
Outside of PTA, I enjoy coaching kids’ soccer and spending time outdoors with my camera. Photography has always been a passion of mine, especially landscape and astrophotography, and I’m excited to bring that creativity into my Historian role. You’ll probably see me around campus capturing events, activities, and all the moments that make the school year memorable for our yearbook.

Hello! I’m Megha, and this is my first year on the Lance Thompson Elementary PTA board. I’m the Holly Jolly Market Vendor Liaison, and it’s a joy to bring local businesses to one of our biggest fundraisers and events of the year.
My eldest child attended 5th grade at LTE before heading to Pike Middle School and Byron Nelson High School, and my middle son is a kindergartener. I’m passionate about supporting our phenomenal NISD schools and the hardworking teachers and administrators who make the magic happen.
When I’m not working as a psychologist or running around with my busy family of 5, I’m usually watching a film or reading a book! I’m looking forward to working with our fabulous team this year!

I’m Kelli, wife to Michael and mother to Jude and Olivia. I work as a civil engineer while the kids are in school, and I’m entering my PTA mom era as the Social Events chair! I love planning events and getting everyone together for a fun time.

Whitney is excited to be serving a second year as the first Spirit Wear Chair for LTE! She is a mom of three amazing kiddos, Gavin, Cooper, and Makenna. Gavin will be a 5th grader, Cooper will be a 3rd grader, and Makenna is 4 years old. Whitney loves all things creative and works as a dance teacher at two area dance studios.
