Sarah Carpenter-Santos

Sarah is starting her third year in the LTE community and on the PTA board! After serving as VP of Membership last year, she’s excited to step into a new role this year. Sarah is a retired Army veteran and has a 3rd grader at Lance Thompson. She loves using her experience to support our teachers, students, and LTE community!

Nikki Suter

Nikki is starting her fourth year on the LTE PTA board! She has previously served as Treasurer and the VP of Fundraising and is now bringing her experience to Membership. Nikki has a daughter in 4th grade at Lance Thompson, along with two older sons. When she’s not busy supporting our Lions, you can usually find her cheering on her daughter at cheer! Nikki loves being involved and is always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed.

Erin Hughes

Erin is joining the PTA for her first year and is putting her love of budgets, organization, and a good spreadsheet to work for our Lions! She has two daughters at LTE, in 3rd and 1st grade, and a son who is a sophomore in high school. When she’s not keeping numbers in order and getting things done, Erin loves to travel and can usually be found enjoying some time by the pool!

Cara Armstrong 

Cara is excited to be back on the LTE PTA board after taking a few years off! She previously served as VP of Fundraising and has a 3rd grader at Lance and a 6th grader at Barksdale. A proud boy mom, when she’s not planning Disney vacations, you can usually find her at a football field or volunteering somewhere in the community! Cara loves bringing people together, planning all the things, and supporting our LTE teachers and families.

Cindy McCloskey

Cindy previously served on the LTE PTA board as Volunteer Coordinator and is excited to be back, this time as our Secretary! Organized and always a fan of a good structure, Cindy has a daughter in 4th grade at Lance Thompson and twins entering 6th grade at Barksdale. When she’s not busy with volleyball or band, you can usually find her out for a run or around the community with her Goldendoodle, Teddy!

Sarah Ross

Sarah is back as our Yearbook Chair and has been bringing LTE memories to life for many years and we’re so lucky to have her because she’s a total rock star at it! She has three kiddos, including a 4th grader and 1st grader at Lance Thompson, plus a toddler keeping her busy. When she’s not working on the yearbook, you can find her cheering on her favorite cheerleader, rooting for her Texas Tech Red Raiders, or putting her creativity to work through her photography business!

Rachel Hilz

Hi! My name is Rachel and I have a beautiful second-grader here at Lance. This is our third year. My daughter and I share a love for all things LTE— especially, the Holly Jolly Market! It was her favorite event last year. We love contributing to our school community and are proud to be Lance Lions. As a long-time resident of the area, I’m excited to serve the PTA and give back near a community where I went to school as a young girl. My daughter and I live with my parents in Stardust Ranch.

I'm excited to serve as the Council Delegate for the Lance Thompson PTA for the 2025–2026 school year. I look forward to building meaningful connections at the district level, sharing important updates, and keeping our Lance community informed and engaged.

My family has been part of the Northlake community for nearly a decade, and we’ve truly appreciated watching it grow while being part of the Lance Thompson family.
