The PTA is a group of Lance Thompson volunteers that work together to support the students, families and educators at Lance Thompson elementary.

How can you help?

By joining the PTA, you are contributing to the learning experience at Lance Thompson Elementary. Members like you make it possible to bring staff appreciation and student enrichment activities to our school. Do you want to bring your student lunch?

Click here for the sign-up for MAY. Please make sure to request a seat for everyone in your group (including your student) so the school can ensure there is enough room for everyone. Don't see the date you are looking for? Lunch visits are sometimes not available because of other things happening in the school that day.

We are currently looking for a Volunteer Chair, Staff Appreciation Chair and Pop-Up Coordinator! The Staff Appreciation Chair and Pop-Up Coordinator used to be one position called Hospitality. These have now been split to make the jobs more manageable. Staff Appreciation is in charge of things like teacher appreciation week and the Pop-Up Coordinator plans goodies for the lounge throughout the year. Thank you for all that you have done to help us win these awards from Texas PTA. The Snappy Increase award is because we got more members before the end of September than we did all of last year. The Golden Apple award is because 100% of full-time staff became PTA members before the end of November.
